on April 14th, 2007 President's Report We will have a booth at the Austintown Sportsman's Super Sale At the Austintown Exposition Center this March 24th and 25th. The hours are Sat 10-8 and Sunday 10-6. This is on Mahoning Ave, Austintown, OH. Call ticket information call 330-544-8951 for the Exposition Center. Henry showed us the gold he got from a 50lb bag of children's play sand that he got from Lowe's. Basically Lowe's gets there sand from Georgia.
Jerry brought in a gold specimen from California that he found. the picture is though a microscope. The actual size of the rock is about one inch by a half an inch.
Vice President's Report Calvin called the Miner's Journal about the Post Gazette article on the gold rush in the Amazon. In this months issue of the Miner's journal they have an article about the gold rush in it. Treasure's Report Dan B. picked up his sluice box he won in December.
