There were 26 members at last months meeting.

From when the dividing wall was washed away they had another work party that put up a new divider.

Calvin talked about the Lifestyle store. That he got some good deals from them.

It was talked about but not voted on that we will either start or end the meeting the the pledge of allegiance.

We had one new member. John D. Who said he would like to bring his church youth group to the property the following weekend to show them what gold prospecting is all about. That would be October 24th. Everyone agreed that would be fine, since we have an standing invitation to Scout troops and church organizations and any other organization that may be of interest to come down and see what we do. We just need a waiver signed stating, for insurance purposes, that we will not be held liable for any thing.

We have new hats that the club will be selling.

Chili Contest Winner There were 7 entries in the chili contest. Calvin's wife (Dorsey) won. The prize was a gold nugget. Water worn Alaskan Gold Nugget This beautiful Alaskan gold nugget was minded in 2005 from the Circle Mining District located NE of Fairbanks. This nugget is about 3/8 inches across and weighs a hefty 8.62 grains (0.56 grams)
