December 1st, 2006 Christmas party at at the next meeting, please bring a
covered dish. Also there will be a gift exchange for those that want to
be part of it, 10$ (max) on the gift. If your a male bring a gift for
another male, if your female bring a gift for another female. Again this
is if you want to be in the gift exchange. Calvin (vice president) talked about how he was hearing
things about gold being more likely to be found in magnetic black sand
vs. non-magnetic black sand. So he did his own little myth buster
experiment where he ground up some non-magnetic black sand and panned it
out and didn't find any gold but then did the same with some magnetic
black sand and found gold. Note his test was done with concentrates
separated from the same batch. Next meeting will be December 9th at the Fire Hall. Remember if you would like to see your photo's on line, I'll put them up. You can email them or send me a cd of them, or if you have regular photos I'll scan them (I'll try to return paper photo's but no guarantee).
